Pastor Edward 'Bebe' Hobson
Bebe Hobson is a passionate, caring leader who has dedicated his life to serving his local community of Pinellas County, Florida. Bebe has been a pastor at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church for over 10 years. In October 2022, he was installed as the Sr. Pastor. He is a former member of the Ridgecrest Area Development Board, the Tampa Elevate Board, multiple Pinellas County School System advisory committees, and the City of Tampa’s ministry alliance.
Bebe also has a long-standing history in the ministry of Young Life. His service dates back to 1978, where he met Jesus at Young Life’s Windy Gap camp. Bebe and his wife, Letarshia, are "products" of the ministry, having been involved since middle school.
Bebe credits his Young Life leaders, Jim and Amy Dyson, for speaking words of affirmation and the truth of God’s great love into his life. God’s love, sifting through the relationship with Jim and Amy, molded him into the man he is today.
The Holy Spirit has elevated Bebe's love for Christ, thanks to God's faithfulness, healing powers, and marriage. The Hobson’s have three daughters and one son.
